Mydabcrafts (MDC) is a Dubai-based brand specializing in handcrafted Multani blue pottery, offering unique home decor, dining, and gifting products. They serve customers in Pakistan and internationally, showcasing heritage craftsmanship through contemporary designs.

Task

Design, develop, and deploy dual e‑commerce websites for Mydabcrafts: one Pakistan-facing site in PKR and one international site in AED/USD. Implement geo-restrictions to prevent international users from accessing PK pricing, while enabling shared catalog management, regional logistics, localized payments, and a high-performance, mobile-responsive shopping experience.

Enforcing strict geo-restrictions so international users cannot access the Pakistan site or see PKR pricing, while keeping redirects smooth and SEO-friendly.

Synchronizing a single catalog for two regions with different currencies, taxes, promotions, and shipping rules without causing data conflicts.

Handling diverse payment methods (COD in Pakistan, card/APMs in UAE/International) while ensuring secure, reliable checkout flows.

Maintaining fast load times and high performance for image-heavy artisan products across mobile, desktop, and cloud platforms.

Enhancing User Experience Across Dual-Region E‑commerce Platforms

Mydabcrafts’ dual websites now provide a seamless shopping experience tailored to each region, ensuring visitors see accurate pricing, currency, and shipping options. Customers can browse, add to cart, and checkout smoothly, whether in Pakistan or internationally.

The geo-restriction and localized checkout system reduce confusion and abandoned carts, while high-performance, responsive design keeps navigation fast and intuitive across devices.
